As the bishop of Nevada, Bishop Schori officiated at my father's funeral at a small church in Tonopah. She did a lot to hearten and heal us and touched upon some of my favorite Christian theology: The Communion of Saints. If we will let her, I believe she will bring great joy and healing to the larger church.
